With This Photo, I Will Judge Your Character
Introducing...My dad! and me as well.
We have a garden out back in which we grow various vegetables. My mother brought a bunch of them inside today and I absentmindedly put them on a plate.
Like this:
Then my father decided to make it better.

Rurall Minesotanses spel gud.
Introducing...the businesses of rural Minnesota!
Went for a little drive last night about town, just to see what I could find. The Prairie Inn celebrates in style.
Right down the street, in fact, the laundromat also boasts some colorful language. This sign has been here for years!
My camera died right after I got this picture, but if I could have gotten a fail shot of myself, I would've. As I opened the car door and stepped out to snap a photo, I quickly realized I had forgotten to put the car in park and it was inching closer to the laundromat walls...Fail, Bess!

I am a bike. Thief.
Introducing...Me. Again.
Thursday night I went out walking around taking pictures as I went. The sun was setting, so I went home and grabbed my bike.
I biked up to the elementary school, shown here:
Unfortunately, today, when I realized my bike was gone, my bike was no longer there.
And here begins the adventure!
I walked to the courthouse, hoping to find it instead of having to report it stolen.
Once there, I described it and they had just picked it up today! Hooray!
Then I got to ride in a police car!
Here's a mini fail. Trying to get a picture of myself in the side mirror.
Another, the sun blinded me there.
And then we were there! The magical place where all found bikes go....

I happened to leave my bike here:

Then I had to get the cop to put the chain back on and then I was off!
So ends this failure.

Not Sticky Enough
Introducing....Katie's wall! A little while ago I printed a bunch of pictures and put them up on my wall.
Unfortunately, my walls are textured. Tape doesn't really stick to them.
This is what it looks like now.
Sigh.
Timm failure!
Self-negating Fail!
I'd like to introduce...us! WE are our first failures to be featured on das blog!
We?
WE are Katie Monroe and Bess Boever, constantly scouring the world for failures large and small. What do we do? We take pictures of people that have failed at life in some way, in the act of failing. Or sometimes inanimate objects. Or animals. In general, whatever fails at the moment.
But wait, isn't this the exact premise of FAILblog?
Yes, yes it is.
Only classier.
Unlike FAILblog, we will not be writing FAIL obnoxiously across every photo. Because we don't think you need it explained to you that the subject of the photo fails. We like to give you more credit than that.
Also!
If you are so lucky as to find yourself featured on these pages, don't take it personally. :) We still love you, and we'll even ask permission before posting it. (Sometimes.)
